About Me My name is Allie but all my friends just call me Al, since i was 13. I can be weak on my own but with my friends i am stronger. The sun hits me and reflects much of the light like a little star brightening everyones day. I have 3 really close friends but am always looking for about 5 others to make me completely happy. I am the most abundant metal in the earths crust, making up about 8.2% of its interior. But i am never found free in nature. Therefore People tell me i seem to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time, as i am always bouncing around trying to find the ones to make myself "complete". I love to travel and love to, when able, take long airplane rides all over, wherever seems to call out to me and just fly. I am often found foiled up in packing for my next adventure and am often refered to as a lightbulb, so i must be quite smart. The recycling of Aluminum scrap metals saves over 90% of the energy required to separate aluminum from bauxite. I am quite dense a person, and when with some of my alloys and friends i am as strong as mild steel. I am a very active one and often disguise myself by the way i rapidly form barrier oxide layers. When I mix with Oxygen to create Aluminum Oxide Al2O3 and is in nature it is called the mineral corundum. Hans Christian Oersted was the first one smart enough to get me alone back in 1825. I didn't fall easily too early and was too expensive to be used early on after being seperated by Hans Christian Oersted. Today however i am used in an array of everyday items including: -Cans -Foils -Kitchen Utensils -Airplanes -Rockets

Monday Today i was so wrapped up in all the work i had that i almost forgot to eat. it was almost like there was so much to do but at the same time it felt like my hands were tied behind my back and i had to wait for someone to notice my distress and unwrap what was beneath
Tuesday I couldnt seem to sleep last night i had to much energy, i was pacing around my room for hours and just couldnt sit still, i guess having that energy drink after class wasnt a very good idea after all, as it seemed to keep me up an additional 17+ hours. is that normal?
Wednesday Thursday I sat next to Nitrogen in math today, we seemed to bond really well, and seemed to have common goals, i think we may become strong friends, as we are already helping balance each other out.
Friday A friday night without my friends and i feel i am about to self implode. dissolving do i feel everyone around me and i have never been so alone in my elemental life

Sunday Today after a long day of hitting baseballs it was nice to relax with a cool can of coke, i may have had one too many
